Anamarie and David’s big day was absolutely incredible – it was filled with so much love and bold, bright color! Like many of the weddings we had in 2021, this was a reschedule due to COVID, and oh my goodness, was it worth the wait!
The day started out with Anamarie getting pampered with her bridesmaids. This “bride tribe” was absolutely amazing – some of them were her sisters and others were friends, but they all seemed like family! We were all so excited that the big day was finally here!
One of the big surprises for the bride was the floral design. You see, Anamarie’s sister is an incredibly talented wedding florist and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. When Anamarie came up to the venue in the morning to see it, she burst into tears (and so did we!) It was such a special moment for these sisters!
Once everyone was ready, it was time for some first looks! I love when a couple does first looks with each other, but love it even more when other first looks happen during the wedding day! Anamarie and David had their own first look, but the bride also did first looks with her bridesmaids and her dad. The reactions were priceless!
After some fun photos with the wedding party, guests began arriving and it was almost time to officially tie the knot! The ceremony and reception were held in the gorgeous White Iron Ridge – originally the plan was to have the ceremony outdoors, but the 95 degree weather made that difficult. Luckily, this venue is stunning both inside and out, so moving everything indoors was still absolutely gorgeous!
Sometimes people ask if having a first look will lessen the emotional impact of the moment you see your future spouse at the ceremony. This wedding is proof that it absolutely doesn’t make that moment any less special. David was so excited to see his beautiful bride walking towards him and it was truly spectacular. It’s the reaction we all dream about!
Once Anamarie and David officially tied the knot, it was time to party! And this group definitely kept the dance floor packed all night! Anamarie had a special dance with her grandfather that brought almost the whole room to tears – it was such a lovely moment! And no Italian wedding would be complete without lots of amazing cookies baked by the family. I’m pretty sure I brought home about 20 cookies!
This was truly a wedding to remember – the beautiful colors and the incredible emotions throughout the entire day will never be forgotten. I wish Anamarie and David all the very best – cheers to many years of happiness, love, and adventure!
