M + D | May 2021

Megan and Dillon’s wedding was an absolute dream day – and it was a LONG time in the making! Originally, they had planned for a May 2020 wedding, but thanks to everyone’s least favorite global pandemic, the big day was pushed out an entire year. However, Megan and Dillon handled the postponement with such grace. One year later, and they’re finally OFFICIALLY married!

The ladies started their day by getting pampered and ready with the team at Posh KC. They looked absolutely gorgeous! Megan chose coordinating colors for the bridesmaids and it turned out beautifully! The bride also did a first look with her “I Do Crew” and it was such a sweet moment!

After a fun morning with their best pals, it was time for Megan and Dillon’s first look. They had waited SO long for this moment to finally happen, and when it did, it was absolute perfection! A few very happy tears were shed, and then it was time to hit the town for some photos with the wedding party.

As the big day approached, the weather forecast was showing lots and lots of rain. We all know that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck, but let’s be honest – we all hope for beautiful weather for a wedding day! Mother Nature pulled through for us and the newlyweds ended up having the most gorgeous weather, allowing for a lot of fun outdoor photos around Kansas City.

After a few hours on the party bus, it was time to head to the venue to officially tie the knot! We were all so excited to finally get these two married! The ceremony was incredibly special – a good friend was their officiant (and did such an incredible job!) and Megan and Dillon’s vows were so sweet and personal. It was such a touching ceremony and a wonderful celebration of the truly incredible partnership of these two people. Something I noticed right away when I met with Megan and Dillon for the first time was just how considerate and supportive of each other they were. They really do have something unique!

And now, it’s time to PARTY! Y’all, this reception was unreal! It was such a blast – everyone was having an incredible time and even grandma was out on the dance floor! I’m pretty sure it ranked as one of the most energetic receptions I’ve ever been part of. So much fun!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Shupe! I’m so honored to have been part of your magical day! Cheers to many wonderful years of happiness and adventures!
