As pretty much everyone around the world knows, 2020 was quite a year! A global pandemic certainly wasn’t in my plans, nor was it in the plans for Danielle and Brent. Luckily, these two managed to make it through the COVID craziness and get hitched…and what an INCREDIBLE day it was!
One of my favorite things about being a wedding planner is the fantastic people I get to meet. This particular wedding was chock-full of fun, energetic people who were so thrilled to get to celebrate with Danielle and Brent! The love and excitement was absolutely palpable.
Once Danielle, Brent, and the whole gang were ready, we got everything in place for their first look before heading out for fun and photos around Kansas City.
Side note: f you want to find one of the most fun wedding parties that has ever existed, look no further than the “I Do Crew” from this big day. Words don’t even do it justice (plus, they’re darn good looking, too!)
After a fun afternoon of photos and jetting around town on a party bus, it was time to head back to the venue to finally say “I do!” The ceremony was heartfelt and captured Danielle and Brent’s love so perfectly! It also included the lovely young ladies that Danielle coaches in volleyball as the flower girls. They were so excited to be part of this special moment in their coach’s life and did a fantastic job in the ceremony.
Because Danielle and Brent are huge sports fanatics, a friend of theirs who is a sports announcer introduced the newlyweds and wedding party into the reception during the grand entrance. It was so much fun!
The rest of the evening was spent dining, drinking, and dancing – and this crowd knew how to enjoy a party! After such a difficult year, this wedding was truly an incredible day and I’m so happy I got to be a part of it!
A huge thanks to Danielle and Brent for allowing me to be part of such a special day! I wish you many years of happiness together and can’t wait to see all the incredible things your future together holds! Cheers to forever!
