You guys. This place is a hidden gem! When I was contacted to work with Missouri Town 1855 on a shoot to help promote their expansion into weddings, I was thrilled!
For those of you not familiar with Missouri Town 1855, you should certainly take a day to go check it out. Located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, this living history museum is comprised of over 30 beautiful acres and houses 25 buildings that were built in the mid-to-late 1800’s.
Also depicting the 19th Century lifestyles are interpreters in period attire, authentic field and garden crops, and rare livestock breeds. It’s absolutely gorgeous and a perfect backdgrop for an outdoor, rustic wedding ceremony.
I was so thrilled to get to work with two different couples for this shoot. It gave us the opportunity to try out a few different ideas at Missouri Town 1855. We also worked with two insanely talented photographers for this shoot – Juliana Noelle Jumper and Emily Lynn Photography. I cannot say enough incredible things about these two. The photos we got from this day truly speak volumes about their skill.
Thanks to the awesome vendor team who made this fantastic day happen – I adore each of you so much!
